Yes. There is a $75* fee for all students – whether they participate in Commencement activities or not. This will be added to the student’s account in February. This fee covers things such as the diploma, diploma covers, shipping costs, etc., and will need to be paid prior to the student receiving their diploma or final transcript.
See our Graduation page for more information.
*Fee will vary based on program type.
Students do not receive their diploma at graduation. Once their last class is completed, their courses are reviewed – and if it is determined that they have met all necessary requirements, their degree is conferred and processed. The diploma will be mailed to the address indicated on the Degree Completion Application. A diploma will be delivered within 3-6 weeks from the date of conferral.
Note: Students who have not received their diploma and fail to notify the university within a year of the diploma being mailed will have to reorder.
No. At this time, Liberty University has not put any limits on how many people can attend graduation. Tickets are not required to attend.
Join the LUOA Senior Class Club!
This club is open to all seniors who are looking to build meaningful community with other seniors as they celebrate their last year at LUOA. This club will meet one time per month virtually, and students will engage in activities and discussions throughout the month.
See our Clubs page for more information.
We suggest that you start making hotel reservations as soon as possible. Because this ceremony is for the entire university, the rooms fill up very fast.
Other accommodations (if you are finding that hotels are already booked) can be found through Airbnb or Vrbo.com.
We have a helpful Visit Guide that can help you plan your trip!
